Scope
This policy explains how Mahallat collects the personal data that stores and captains submit through the registration forms on this website, and how we use and protect it, in line with the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Data we collect
- Stores: store name and business type, owner name, mobile number and email, city, address and map link, commercial registration number and IBAN, and copies of the menu, commercial registration, IBAN certificate, tax certificate and logo.
- Captains: full name, mobile number, city, date of birth, national ID number, vehicle serial and plate numbers, and copies of the national ID, driving licence and vehicle registration.
This website does not use advertising cookies or marketing trackers.
Why we use your data
- To review your application and verify your documents.
- To contact you about your application and activate your account.
- To transfer store payouts to the registered IBAN.
- To meet the regulatory requirements that apply to delivery services.
We do not sell your data or share it with marketing companies.
Where your data is stored and who can see it
Registration data and documents are stored in Mahallat's account on Google services (Google Drive and Google Sheets), and only the Mahallat team authorised to review applications can access them. We may disclose data to the competent government authorities when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep application data for as long as we work with you, and afterwards for the period the law requires, then delete it. If an application is declined, we delete its documents within a reasonable time unless the law requires us to keep them.
